About the event

INNOVATE is this year's iteration of the flagship annual national conference of the Orthopaedic Research Collaborative (East) Anglia (ORCA), bringing together clinicians, researchers, trainees, students, and industry leaders to explore the future of orthopaedics through innovation, insight, and impact.

INNOVATE 2026 aims to be a one-day, high-impact event focused on turning ideas into reality. The conference showcases how cutting-edge research, artificial intelligence, digital health, and collaborative thinking are shaping the next generation of orthopaedic care.

The programme features international keynote speakers, inspirational talks from leaders across academia and industry, and dedicated sessions aimed at career development, fellowships, and innovation pathways. A strong emphasis is placed on collaborative networking, providing attendees with meaningful opportunities to connect with peers, mentors, and organisations at local, national, and international levels.

INNOVATE also provides a national platform for showcasing work through:

  • Oral podium presentations

  • Poster presentations
