About the event

The ORCA Clinical Research Day is a unique educational opportunity with regional, national, and international relevance. It is designed to introduce key research principles, showcase orthopaedic research across the East of England Deanery, and provide opportunities to get involved. Attendees will also benefit from the insights of a diverse and experienced faculty, sharing their knowledge and experience in research and collaboration.


Aligned with a revised curriculum, the ORCA Clinical Research Day supports your progression towards meeting the research and scholarship requirements for:

  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Trauma & Orthopaedics in the UK

  • Broader international training frameworks


The course covers essential areas including:

  • Demonstrating evidence-based clinical practice
